I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
